General Information

We offer various birthday party packages tailored to different group sizes, budgets, and themes. Our packages typically include:

  • Access to the play area and playtime
  • 1 entertainer per 7 children, with a program customized for their age
  • Welcome sign for guests and cake table decoration
  • Food and drinks
For younger children, we strongly recommend that parents stay to supervise. We have tables on the terrace where you can relax and enjoy while the kids are having fun. We kindly ask that parents do not go inside the playground during the party activities, as children usually feel less comfortable in a crowded space.
Our entertainment program lasts 2 hours and includes playtime in the park, fun age-appropriate games, snacks, and the cake moment. The cake can be served in our café area, outside the play area, allowing children to enjoy it at their own pace. This time is not included in the 2-hour program.

After the cake is served on the terrace, children cannot return to the playground, as we use this period to clean and prepare the space for the next party. If children wish to stay longer, they will need to wait approximately 30 minutes until the cleaning is finished, after which they may re-enter the playground under the usual conditions and at the regular price of the next play slot.

Bookings close one month before the event date to ensure we can offer those slots for play sessions. However, if you have a last-minute request, email us at info@puravidafunchal.pt, and we’ll do our best to find an available time for you!

The minimum quantity for booking a party is:

Package Light – 10 children
Package Plus – 20 children
Package Ultimate – 30 children

It is ok, if less kids appear at the parties, but we don’t make refunds for those who didn’t appear.

The final number of participants must be confirmed 48 hours before the party. The charge will be based on the final number of confirmations communicated by the client before the party. We do not offer refunds for absences. If additional children attend on the day, we can add them to the bill during the party without any problem.

We focus on active and educational games, tailored to the children’s ages. Our philosophy encourages interaction through classic and fun activities, using natural materials and toys, while avoiding screen exposure.

Yes, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is paid on the day of the party. Note: Deposits are non-refundable, regardless of how far in advance you book and regardless of the reason for cancellation.

Deposits are non-refundable, but you can reschedule your party at least 14 days in advance with no penalty.

Our party packages already include decorations in our unique Pura Vida style, carefully designed to create a fun and festive atmosphere. However, if you would really like to add something of your own, please let us know at least 14 days before the party. We will be happy to discuss it with you and see how we can best incorporate it into our decoration plan.

Note: Outside food and drinks are not allowed, except for the birthday cake.

Yes! You can bring your own cake, but we do not provide refrigeration or storage. Our team will assist with cutting and serving it to the children.
Yes! You are welcome to bring your own goody bags, or you can purchase pre-prepared goody bags directly from us. Please note that goody bags are not included in the standard play or party packages — they are an optional extra that can be added for an additional cost.
Yes! Please inform us in advance, and we will do our best to adjust the menu to accommodate dietary restrictions.

Safety & Cleaning

Yes! We follow strict cleaning protocols and regularly sanitize all play areas and high-touch surfaces.

Socks are mandatory for all children in the play area. Shoes are not allowed, and barefoot play is not permitted. If adults remove their shoes, they must wear socks, or alternatively use the plastic covers provided.
In case of an emergency, our team will immediately call an ambulance or the appropriate emergency services, and parents will be notified right away.
